About MusicEdOnline

MusicEdOnline is different from a traditional course of study, AND it's different from other online studies. It's not the same as a "lesson". It certainly is not a lengthy seminar. It's one, or many, 5-7 minute topic(s)...with added tools. Each topic is chock full of music education that our "Adjunct Contributors", senior developers and staff have acquired over their professional careers- all presented in a cohesive, progressive manner. You may merely pick a topic you are interested in, or you may take a sequential path of study. Teacher users may select a path of study for their students or use certain topics within their classroom, or for homework, to augment what they are already teaching! it is a "big" or as "small" as you want to make it..

MusicEdOnline's mission is to provide inexpensive, quality online contemporary music education, taught by the best in the business, to music students of all ages and types. We are committed to providing a collaborative online platform where top contemporary professional musicans can spread their knowledge to others, music "students" of all ages & types can find diverse musical information and music teachers can have more teaching and organization tools to give their students . . . all of this rolled into one location! MusicEdOnline's education and delivery model is a "win, win" for everyone.

How MusicEdOnline got its start:
The vision began in 2010 with tech-geek musician and former professor/curriculum developer Tom Frazee and his partner, songwriter, vocalist Nancy Roche' realized that there needed to be an alternative, trustworthy source for current music education. They had the tech skills AND the music skills to put it together, as well as the connections with top music educators and performers from around the world! Two people with a big dream that finally isn't "ahead" of it's time . . . it is "the future of music education online . . . today!"

Where are we now?
MusicEdOnline (aka "MEO") is in it's building stages, adding inventory before we present it fully to the public! Please enjoy the few "freebies" we have to get a feel of how the MEO learning process will take place on the MEO platform. Our belief is that theory should be presented concisely and in a short frame of time, followed by a LOT of repition! It is the repetition of such theories that causes the student to retain the information.

Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in becoming a MEO adjunct contributor, a part of our investment team, or a school who would want an online option for music studies!
